Someone, somewhere once exclaimed, “Please understand, I have been waiting to leave ever since I figured out that roads were willing to take me anywhere I wanted to go.” And in doing so, encapsulated perfectly the need wanderers feel to just pack those bags, and get out in the open.
We, at Adventures Overland, understand and personify this feeling, as there is none other that will partner you so ably in your bid to explore this wonderful world of ours – one winding road at a time. This is where one of our most thrilling and exciting self-driven endeavours comes in. The mother of all road trips, which has stood the test of turbulent times, and emerged victorious ever since its inaugural run in the year 2017. The Road to London cannot be categorized as a mere trip. It’s an experience that promises to stay with you forever.
Our adventure began in 2017 and extended into 2018 & 2019 from India to London by road covering 18 countries and 16,000 km in a span of 50 days. Dubbed as an impossible journey by many, the participants drove on remote terrains, off‐beaten tracks, mountain passes, and expressways to reach their final destination… London. In 2022 and 2023, our route evolved and the journey began from Iran, traversing through 20 countries, 16000 Kms in 55 days before culminating once again in the vibrant heart of London.
In 2024, the journey kicked off from Gorakhpur, India, covering 16,000 km across 20 countries in 65 days, all the way from India to UK by road. Stay tuned for the latest updates on the upcoming Road to London 2025 season!
